beyerdynamic unveils wireless boundary microphone

The highlight from beyerdynamic at the ISE was the encrypted wireless boundary microphone from the Stegos product line. The main application for this encrypted system is speech transfer in video conferences. A single receiver can accommodate signals from up to four microphones. The system offers exceptional usability with a battery life of up to 14 hours; a programmable microphone button which can be used, for example, to mute all the microphones simultaneously; and the facility to monitor the system from a PC or touch screen. Using the wide variety of audio interfaces available, as well as the audio cables delivered with the product, the Stegos receiver can be connected securely and simply to all the most popular video conferencing
systems from any of the major suppliers.

beyerdynamic expands its range of microphone units for MCS-Digital

The versatile range of microphone units for the MCS-Digital wired conferencing system is to be expanded further with brand new integrated units featuring Revoluto technology. These units can be concealed in the table and opened out as required. This is made possible by the patented Revoluto technology, which removes the need for gooseneck microphones. Featuring a high quality Nextel® dark-black coating, the units can be integrated aesthetically into desktops of varying materials. If required, the cover can be finished with a special veneer to match the table surface, allowing the technology to be integrated discreetly in any conference table.

There is also a range of newly-designed space-saving microphone units for use with MCS-Digital. These feature a practical folding gooseneck mechanism, which allows the microphone to be folded away and protected when it is not in use or is being transported. Both chairperson and delegate units are available in different versions. The basic version has a microphone button, while the more advanced come with a language selector, display and function buttons to facilitate voting. The new unit replaces the MCS-D 2073 and further expands the range of microphones available for use with the system.

Under table Microphone Unit for MCS 20 Conference System

The latest addition to the MCS 20 system is the MCS 263 unit for mounting under the table allowing flexible and discreet installations. It provides a 5-pin XLR connection for microphones and phantom power. The required button, loudspeaker and headphone are connected to the supplied Phoenix connections. Removable mounting clips allow mounting the unit under the table or in arm rests. The installation is even more unobtrusive when connecting the MPR 211 with Revoluto technology.

beyerdynamic, Element One and Komtech introduce the latest applications of Revoluto technology

Visitors to the ISE in Amsterdam were able to see new and ingenious applications of beyerdynamic’s Revoluto technology. The innovative design of the Revoluto microphone array allows it to be integrated in a variety of different areas. For example, cooperation with Element One has seen the microphone array integrated discreetly into a high quality folding flat panel display; Komtech has developed a connector panel which integrates the MPR210/211 Revoluto microphone; while beyerdynamic itself was unveiling a new range of Revoluto microphone units that can be integrated seamlessly into conference tables.

Small but mighty - new Microphones with Revoluto Technology

The new, elegant design of the MPR 210 and MPR 211 is very compact. The microphones can be connected to a mixing console, mixing amplifier or DSP matrix. The MPR 210 is a pure desktop microphone while the MPR 211 microphone unit provides a programmable microphone button and connections for an external logical control. Applications of the new Revoluto microphones include tele and video conferences, lecterns, podiums and press conferences.

Revoluto Wireless – Experience Freedom

At the Prolight+Sound in Frankfurt beyerdynamic presented the Revoluto microphone units for the wireless MCW-Digital 50 conference system. The advantages of the wireless conference system and the Revoluto technology are combined in one product. These microphone units with a new elegant design provide more flexibility and freedom of movement in meetings and discussions. Due to the transport and charging case the microphone units can easily and quickly be set up and removed at any time. The integrated microphone array provides the participants with more freedom of movement; they can lean back on their chair, turn their head or even stand up.

The Revoluto Technology

Compared to a gooseneck microphone, the microphone units with the patented Revoluto technology provide a corridor characteristic and more comfort while speaking. There is no need to adjust a gooseneck microphone and the voice range is much wider. Whether you lean backwards, stand up or turn your head, the quality of the intelligibility always remains the same with Revoluto.
